The Cornwall Optimist Club is recruiting local junior golfers to participate at tournament levels in local, provincial and national events.
The Canadian Optimist Junior Golf Program is based on a short series of qualifiers to advance to the Canadian Optimist Junior Golf Championships and the International Golf Championships. The progression of qualifiers start at the local level with the next stage being an Optimist District Championship in our area. Junior golfers from the District Championship can qualify the Canadian Optimist National and or the Optimist International Golf Championships at the PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Boys and Girls from the ages 10 to 18 including all skill levels are welcome.
